I would like to know if any Virginia Clerks have sent a proclamation to Newtown regarding the Sandy Hook Elementary School incident. If so would you please send me a copy of the proclamation.

Karen - The Town of Herndon sent a letter rathern than a formal proclamation. I will email you a copy of the letter. ~Amanda

Roanoke City Council did not instruct the Clerk to prepare a proclamation. However, at the regular meeting of City Council on Monday, December 17, the Mayor called for a Moment of Silence in memory of those that were killed at the Sandy Hook Elementary School.
